The Type 1031 is a high-performance ¼″ prepolarized free-field measurement microphone designed for demanding applications involving elevated sound pressure levels and extended frequency ranges. With a dynamic range of 40 to 175 dB and frequency response from 3.15 Hz to 80 kHz, it is ideal for precision testing in automotive, aerospace, and electronics. The microphone features a laser-welded stainless steel diaphragm and a rugged protective grid to ensure long-term stability and reliability, even in harsh or noisy environments. Its prepolarized configuration allows easy integration with both traditional and TEDS-enabled preamplifiers.

 

Quality and Stability

The stainless-steel diaphragm is laser-welded for enhanced mechanical stability and environmental resilience.

Each ZXONIC microphone is assembled in a cleanroom environment, ensuring low self-noise, excellent thermal stability, and resistance to environmental stressors such as humidity and temperature extremes.

 

Type 1031 TEDS Microphone Set

Type 1031 is also manufatured with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) configurations, paired with compatible preamplifiers. The microphone and preamplifier are sealed together to form a single, integrated unit. Each TEDS unit contains a preloaded digital ID and sensitivity calibration, allowing for automatic sensor recognition and error-free setup with compatible DAQ systems.

Default TEDS template is to IEEE P1451.4 v1.0 Template.
