Family 1029

1/2'' Diffuse-Field Microphone, PrePolarized
Type 1029 diffuse-field microphone is designed for random-incidence measuremnts over 3.15 Hz to 12.5 kHz. TEDS functionality is available.
Type 1029 Series are 1/2'' diffuse-field prepolerized microphone sets optimized for general random-incidence measurements. Engineered for precision in complex acoustic environments, these microphones offer a wide frequency response from 3.15 Hz to 12.5 kHz and a dynamic range of 20 to 162 dB, making them ideal for both low-level ambient noise and high-intensity sound pressure levels.
Designed for reliable performance in real-world sound fields, the Type 1029 Series is well-suited for a broad range of applications, including:
-
Outdoor environmental noise monitoring
-
In-vehicle or cabin noise analysis
-
Architectural acoustics
-
Workplace noise assessment
-
General acoustic research
Assembly
Each unit is assembled in a clean-room environment to ensure high-quality performance and minimal contamination. Both the microphone and preamplifier are individually labeled with a printed type number and a unique serial number for traceability.
TEDS
The unit is equipped with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) functionality, allowing important information—such as type number, serial number, and sensitivity—to be stored directly within the device for seamless identification and system integration.
