At ASA 2026, the future of acoustic measurement is not just about collecting sound data — it is about seeing the sound field more completely, more quickly, and more clearly. ZXONIC is proud to attend the 190th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in Philadelphia, May 11–15, 2026, where we will highlight our latest work in acoustic visualization and present the ZX5900 Spherical Acoustic Array for 360° one-shot sound-source localization and cabin/room noise mapping

At ZXONIC, we develop sound and vibration measurement solutions designed for accuracy, durability, and the future of AI acoustic engineering. Our portfolio spans sound level meters and analyzers, acoustic transducers, acoustic imaging systems, and related measurement solutions built for laboratory, industrial, environmental, and field applications.
This year, we are especially excited to present the ZX5900 Spherical Acoustic Array. The ZX5900 is designed for 360° one-shot sound-source localization and cabin/room noise mapping, capturing an omnidirectional sound map from a single measurement position and overlaying the result onto a panoramic visual scene. In practical terms, that means a faster, more intuitive way to understand complex acoustic environments without relying only on walk-around listening or time-consuming point-by-point checks.
Spherical beamforming as a way to obtain a complete omnidirectional noise map from one simple measurement, including use cases of vehicle interior noise studies, train and aircraft cabin measurements, squeak-and-rattle work, industrial plant noise, and source location in rooms and factory halls. The ZX5900 is positioned for the 360° overview mapping and cabin/room acoustic visualization.
Why does that matter?
Acoustic problems are not limited to one direction. In cabins, rooms, enclosed workspaces, and other complex environments, engineers often need to understand the full sound field quickly. A spherical acoustic array helps turn that challenge into a visual workflow: locate, interpret, and communicate sound sources in a way that is faster for engineering teams and clearer for users. Spherical beamforming is useful in both free-field and reverberant environments, which is part of why this measurement approach has become so valuable for overview mapping.
We look forward to connecting with researchers, engineers, consultants, and industry partners at ASA 2026 to discuss how ZXONIC can support acoustic testing, diagnostics, and product development. We are always glad to talk.
