ZX3300 Achieves FCC Certification — A Major Compliance Milestone for U.S. Deployment

We’re excited to share that the ZXONIC ZX3300 Sound Level Meter/Analyzer has officially received FCC equipment authorization (FCC ID: 2BTTP-ZX3300).

For customers in the United States, FCC authorization is more than a label—it’s a practical proof point that the product’s wireless functions comply with FCC rules on radio-frequency (RF) emissions and RF exposure. It ensures the ZX3300 can be deployed safely in environments where compliance, documentation, and reliability is needed.

Why FCC certification matters

Many modern instruments include wireless capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular connectivity. Without proper control, RF emissions can create unwanted interference with nearby electronic systems or wireless networks. That’s why the FCC requires products with intentional radiators (wireless transmitters) to be evaluated against strict technical limits before being marketed in the U.S.

FCC authorization helps users and organizations:

  • Reduce procurement friction (compliance documentation is often required by EHS, QA, IT, and purchasing teams)

  • Support on-site acceptance in industrial facilities, labs, and regulated workplaces

  • Increase confidence that the product’s wireless design and manufacturing are controlled and consistent

What was certified on ZX3300

ZX3300 integrates Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G (cellular) connectivity. As part of FCC equipment authorization, the radio functions were evaluated under the FCC parts 15C, 15E, 24E, 22H, 27 listed on the grant:

  • Wi-Fi / Bluetooth (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz): evaluated under FCC Part 15 requirements (e.g., spread spectrum / digital transmission and U-NII bands, depending on band).

  • 4G (LTE cellular): evaluated under FCC Part 22 / Part 24 / Part 27 requirements (as applicable to the supported LTE bands).

The authorization covers ZX3300 as a SOUND LEVEL METER/ANALYZER with integrated radios, confirming it meets FCC requirements for marketing and operation in the U.S.

What this means for ZX3300 users

FCC certification is one part of a broader commitment: building instrumentation that is not only accurate and field-ready, but also compliant and easy to deploy globally.

With ZX3300, customers can expect:

  • Smoother U.S. deployment with FCC authorization in place

  • More reliable wireless operation designed to meet regulatory limits

  • Documentation support for procurement and compliance records
